Personal data that we process

10KB processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

This is the personal data that we process:

  • First and last name;
  • Company details;
  • Telephone number;
  • E-mail address;
  • Payment details;
  • IP address;
  • Other personal data that you actively provide, for example in correspondence, by telephone or by filling in forms with third parties (such as linkedin);
  • Information about your activities on our website.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process:

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@10kb.nl and we will delete this information.

For what purpose we process personal data

10KB processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to be able to carry out our services;
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products;
  • For handling payments;
  • For personalizing emails;
  • To provide services;
  • To analyze your behavior on the website in order to improve the website;
  • 10KB also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return.

How long we keep personal data

10KB does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. The data will not be kept for longer than two years if no contract is concluded.

Sharing personal data with third parties

10KB does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to guarantee the same level of security and confidentiality. 10KB remains responsible for these processing operations.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

10KB uses functional and analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and your ease of use. They make sure that the website works properly. We can also optimize our website with this. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information that was previously stored via the settings of your browser. On your first visit to our website we already informed you about these cookies and we asked for your permission to place them.

In addition, we use Hotjar to register user experiences, we use Drift to chat on the website and we use Leadinfo to obtain (public) company data based on the IP address of visiting companies.

Google Analytics

10KB uses Google Analytics to track how users use the website and how effective 10KB's Adwords ads are. The information obtained, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Read Google's privacy policy for more information. You will also find the privacy policy of Google Analytics here.

Google uses this information to keep track of how the website is used, to provide reports about the website to 10KB and to provide information about the effectiveness of our campaigns. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. 10KB has no influence on this. 10KB has not given Google permission to use Analytics information obtained through 10KB for other Google services.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by 10KB and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@10kb.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we'll ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make sure you black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Social Security Number (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but always within four weeks. 10KB would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA). How we protect personal data

10KB takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact info@10kb.nl. We have taken the following measures to protect your personal data:

  • Only necessary persons within 10KB have access to personal data;
  • We use security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall;
  • TLS (formerly SSL). We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can see this by the address bar 'https' and the padlock in the address bar;
  • DNSSEC is an extra security (additional to DNS) for converting a domain name (10kb.nl) to the associated IP address; it is provided with a digital signature. You can have that signature checked automatically. This way we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
